Lodz can boast not only beautiful historical buildings, an endless promenade of one of the longest streets in Poland, or beautiful and modern universities. Lodz's students are its greatest treasure, a treasure that comes with many awards, of course.

Over the years, Lodz students have had no equal in national and international competitions such as:

 

 - competition "The Best of the Best" organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, where a project of the students from the Lodz University of Technology "GUST" was granted almost 300 thousand zlotys; in the same competition a project of the students from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science and Control of the Lodz University of Technology, "Autonomy on land and in the air with robots from SKaNeR Association", was granted 200 thousand zlotys

-  international competition "Black Sea Science 2021", in which three students from the Lodz University of Technology received first place for creating an app called FriML.

- international competition "Cisco Global Problem Solver 2020", in which a project of the Lodz University of Technology students, Intelligent Hives, won the third place.

 - the competition of the student organization SIFE, in which an ecological project of the students from the University of Lodz "Green up your waste!" received an award during the national final.
