Lodz is a city located at the very centre of Poland, and of Europe, is surrounded by a network of motorways and expressways which provide the city with excellent connection with Polish and European cities.

The proximity of two international airports, including one them - The city’s Reymont international airport is ten minutes away from the centre of Lodz, constitute indisputable assets of Lodz when compared to other locations.  It offers direct links to a number of European cities, such as London, Dublin, Munich, Athens, etc. The airport serves passengers as well as cargo traffic. What is more, thanks to a convenient road and railway connection, Chopin airport in Warsaw, which serves approximately 100 destinations, is only 90 minutes away.

Lodz is also an important railway node with one of the most modern railway stations in Europe — Lodz Fabryczna, completed in 2016. Located in the city centre, Lodz Fabryczna railway station
has recently undergone a major redevelopment. Railway tracks and platforms were placed underground, anticipating the construction of the diametric tunnel under the city, which is expected to be opened by 2022. To conclude, the new underground line will be a sort of a rapid metro connection in Łódź. Currently, Lodz Fabryczna station offers access to a number of means of transport, both private and public, including trains, buses, trams and city bikes. It has frequent and fast (1.5h) connections with Warsaw.There are also convenient connections with other major cities in the country.
